In our use case and with average rider weight, wouldn’t the “strength test” video showing its flexibility still prove the deck’s strength? If the stresses acting on the material don’t result in its fracture or permanent deformation.
Definitely. Usually things that flex are the most “strong”. A lot of the time stiffness is actually a more important design objective.
The stiffer you go the harder it is to make something impact resistant.

@glyphiks they aren’t serious about off road with batteries bellow deck.
They also called many things “all terrain” using one motor or two little ones.
Just saw insta post last night, don’t care to read more about it. Big import Vendors won’t, can’t sell you a capable off road build and break even.
Might be a nice board to walk your dog on gravel or grass.
I’m salty about being censored on instagram for a benign reply.

I’m a sucker for form factor/sleek design, so if I were to build a “mtb” style board for light offroading or light jumping in urban spaces I’d build a board similar to the Renegade. I have seen multiple videos of people jumping with under-mount batteries and the clearance still being fine. These only work in environments with packed surfaces or in urban environments of course, similar to the types shown in Evolves video.
At this point, I’m willing to make a build catered to this style of riding that’s got an under-mount enclosure. I feel with the right selection of deck/trucks/enclosure, a build could surely be made without being as bad as the forum makes them out to be, no?
