Hey Lee, seeing as you’re actually working on the exact same board. How much weight do you think you can put on that bottom enclosure with the 12 cap screws before its too much?
Its roughly a 3kg load on it stock standard.
But do you reckon you could load it with 8kg and the screws would still hold easily or would you add another 10 screws and epoxied inserts for safe measure?
All good. I see your 12s5p and raise you another 5p stacked flat on top with a kapton tape bound thin bit of acrylic in between each 5p layer which comes in at a little over 5.5kg using p26a’s. I’m sure it’s possible with the spacer I’m cutting up. Won’t a 4wd AT setup eat those 60 cells for breakfast?
Yeah those square peismatic block cells, there are 5 of them. I remember asking for and paying another 200USD for the extended battery and all that info on the battery including certs is lost on an old work email.
Okay, is pulling battery amps different to the engine amps? Cos on the vescx tool, its defaulted to 80 amps each engine and it feels about right, with max at 160
I’ve got a similar build, but running 6.5" trampa tyres and use evolve trucks (gtr). However, I just ordered some Flipshit 15.2" dkp trucks so that I can run 8" tyres without wheel bite.
I wouldn’t have bought anything from Flipshit, but they are the only ones marketing these wide trucks…
