EVOLVE GEN 1-2 BITS AND PIECES
I swung by Evolve Uk today and stopped a load of stuff going to land fill. If anybody is in need please let me know. I know a lot of people have moved on but I and a couple of friends still have old Evolve boards so it’s nice to have spare parts.
I have

9 x 7ah bamboo new batteries
7x used carbon batteries
2x new carbon batteries
120 x 260 5m15 belt
50 x 425 5m15 belt
80 x kegel 32T gears
23 x bamboo battery covers with motor controllers
3 x gen 1 pintail battery covers
11 x bamboo motor controllers
6 x gen 1 carbon motor controllers
49 x power switches
60 x charge ports
40x AT motor mounts
I have about 3 sets of the wide single motor AT gen 2 trucks and 3sets of street single motor trucks also.

Lol

Cool of you to save all this stuff, but I would be seriously wary of those old batteries.

those 260 5m 15 belts might be appealing if you can ship em stateside lol

I think all of the unopened “new” ones will be fine. I’ll check all the cell voltages individually anyway. They’ve just been sat in storage, not sure what the shelf life on lipo’s is though.

If you have those narrower (i believe v1?) DKP trucks id be real interested in a set. Its a long shot ofcourse hah.

These ?

I know the trucks were silver, had a single mount i believe and were narrower than the gt/gtr black trucks. Thats all i know

Wooot id love to get my grubby hands on a set.

Btw this is not my pic, i just grabbed one from the interwebs.

Do you have any Gen. 1 carbon batteries left? I emailed evolve last week looking for one and they said no more, ever. Been trying to get this board going forever.

I got too excited and hit send. Also interested in any consumables. I’m fairly new to the sport so I don’t know if belts and pulleys are still available for newer models and that type of thing. More then happy to cover you time and shipping of course, if it’s not too much trouble to the states.

Sorry they’ve all gone . Plus shipping to the states would be a nightmare

Do you still have any of the dkp trucks?

Those belts look like they’re all standard sizes so you should be good on that front

  1. 260 is the length on the belt in millimeters
  2. 5m is the tooth profile (relevant search terms are “HTD 5M” or just “5M”. These are 5mm tooth pitch and a standard metric profile)
  3. 15 means 15mm wide belts. A smaller belt can theoretically work on the same hardware but will strip or snap much more easily. A wider one can be used if your pulleys are wide enough to support it
  4. Occasionally the length is specified in terms of number of teeth instead of length. Divide the length by 5, so 260mm becomes 52 tooth

If you have working belts and want to stock up on more preemptively, look for markings that fit that general scheme on them. If you want cheap, by them by the 10 pack from AliExpress (there’s a thread somewhere with decent sellers). If you need them fast, try a reasonably big mechanics/auto supplies place, RS or maybe TME in the EU, or McMaster in the US. They will be expensive

Pulleys are also close to a commodity part.

Most wheels use one of a small number of core patterns, like Kegel for orangatang Kegel, Caguama, Boa wheels, a lot of OEMs, or ABEC profile for ABEC11 wheels, Cloudwheels, and some other OEMs

They are also 5M tooth profile.

Motor pulleys are 5M as well, you generally need something with an 8mm bore, and usually a keyway. Idk the specifics for old evolve gear though
