EVOLVE & 6368 200KV

My mate has a EVOVLE Bamboo GT and one motor has stopped working.
Will the FLIPSKY H6368 200Kv work as a replacement motor? I was going to replace them both for him.

If you find the Racerstar 5065 140Kv motor, they are drop-in replacements

Devo, I already ordered them just b4 Xmas. I thought they looked the same and would fit as a drop in replacement…

Going to need new motor mounts. They might be under whelming as well if you don’t have a new 3rd party battery pack.

Oh ok. Any idea what motor mounts would work with these motors and the evolve?

What country are you in?

I think @dickyho sells them and in AUS that may be the closest option

Will they work with the FLIPSKY H6368 200Kv motors?

yes, if the FLIPSKY H6368 200Kv motors have 38mm install screw holes.

Dicky’s motor mounts are magic because they work with both the 38mm (most 50xx motors) and 44mm (most 63xx motors) hole patterns

Send pics. The newer evolves use bigger cans than what most of us remember. I’ve never seen the mounting screw pattern bc I don’t tinker on these anymore.

You might not need new mounts at all.

for the truck, I think this mount, but this mount only can support 30 or 44mm motor install holes.

@Goldmember those look like the older style mounts with 56mm diameter motors and (36mm bolt pattern?)

I’m not here to discuss the KV mismatch (that is a thing)

Expect to go on a belt hunt if you use mounts that are longer than stock. Here is a center distance calculator.

Evolve is something like 15:66 ? I can measure center distance and count teeth if you don’t have access to evolve parts.

Is my mate going to have issues with the 200Kv motor if I do end up installing these motors?

Maybe I should have just got the Racerstar 5065 140Kv motors and not just gone for the more expensive FLIPSKY 6368 200KV! :worried:
