eSk8 history who first put an electric motor on a skateboard?

lots of you kidz have been around the block in eSkate a long time…

anybody have any Idea who and where our god amongst men, first put an electric motor on a skateboard?
I want to pay homage to that far-reaching genius(s)

It is fun but the drivers are out to kill you and most of the roads are shit. Unfortunately I can’t commute with mine yet as I am heavy and I live up a hill but I hope it will change once I get more batteries to power a dual motor with proper motors and gearing. Than I will be able to go further and there are places I am sure will be nice on an eboard.

Goal is an eMTB to go il the mountain on other islands.

Also, only other esk8 I saw here are Koolwheel sold at carrefour (think Walmart but lame) for 1000$.

Paddling is the most popular sport around here it is part of our high school graduation program. look up Hawaki Nui Vaa it is crazy, but I don’t really do water sports, I know shame right.

I am the first with a DIY that’s for sure.

Just remember I have seen some old heavy all terrain esk8 with the huge pneumatics before.
