Esc🤔 whats the best option

So i was about to buy a focbox unity, so i thought
But in the end i fond out they were not easy to get your hands on anymore
Definitely in Europe so
Here the new legendary question (koughkough)
Wat is a good esc beter yet i want the best one but oh well
Hit me up with the good names
I want to hook it up on a 12s5p or 12s 6p

Currently probably the trampa 6.6
But there seems to be a lot of New things to come.

Trampa vesc 6 if you have the money

Focboxes if you can wait for them to turn up

If you’re willing to wait, @jeffwuneo and @torqueboards have some exciting products in the pipelines… Exciting stuff but I don’t know when they’ll be available.

Seems like right now the best option is to wait out the great ESC drought of early 2020 and hope that soon the rains return to shower us with plentiful ESC options.

I think you might score some escapes from @BigBen. That little hoarder scored about six recently I think.

I doubt he’s got three new builds running.

You might be surprised.

Your making the huge assumption that hes not building a 6WD Beast.

Yes I have. They were at the Paris event 2019.

I wasn’t interested in them since I have no business using them so I didn’t pay much attention to them other then asking why it had multiple phase wires which I now understand is still just for one motor but uses several per phase for current managing purposes.

Il have five Flipsky FSESC 6.6 DUAL, the big ones, WITHOUT built-in antisparks and those with big capacitors. I killed only one because of a mistake I did. I run one of them with NO LIMIT firmware with 80100 motors, 120A battery/motor max, 250A absolute max, and there is no issue. Never hot.

Have you updated to 4.x or still running 3.x firmware?

Trampa have a website. The rumor goes that some have actually found something there.

it looks really nice, well build and verry high end and stuff but still very expensive
i already thought the unity was expensive, some people say its better to run two separate single focboxes/vesc. why exactly im not shure the thing i know is that the unity has an app for your mobile phone
and my guess that 2 seperate focboxes would be better then the unity is that if one of the 2 fails you dont have to get a new unity, but just a single focbox (cheaper)
the flipsky looks kind of well build but i am starting to get in a dillema of what i should get, manny options and also risks if they fail or break on me i just pay a lot of money for jack
but finding the correct vesc without buying to test each and every vesc out there is not an option, i wil end up selling my kidneys

my build is going to be with dual 190kv 6455 motors from TB
battery 12s5p or 12s6p (still looking at the options based on the VESC)
i need/really want to know what would be the best option here

i want to ride, but im also able to wait, but i kind of want to ride, but stil i am kind of capable of waiting, but oh man how i want to ride, but no i can wait (i can do this), but no more pushing and easy traveling, no! (jerpox dont give in)
