Epoxy on bare wires?

I am not sure honestly. But that’s why I route a little deeper and use silicone wire end epoxy that in place.

That we you have the silicone between the actual wire and the epoxy.

Some epoxies have real metals in them as an addon, so don’t bridge connections with a solid line of epoxy.

I’ve been worried about that before, as JB Weld has steel powder in it and definitely responds to a magnetic field, but so far it doesn’t seem to create shorts or current paths. Not sure what it’s dielectrical strength is, but my experience says it’s probably not an issue for esk8 use. Though it’d probably be better to just epoxy silicone-insulated wire and not bare wire.
