I would like to receive email notifications when a new reply is posted to a topic I’m watching. According to this: Email notifications for a topic - #2 by codinghorror - support - Discourse Meta it should be enough to set the notification level to “Watching”, but I’m not getting any emails. Does this forum have a different setting for this?
I really don’t want to miss a certain reply, that’s why I want to set this up.
Thanks. Not sure what you’re referring to specifically on that page, but I’ve checked it thoroughly. I have “Always” in all the three dropdown options (not that they are related anyway).
Then there’s the mailing list mode, which I don’t really understand but seems to me that’s a whole different thing?
Hmm if you have all the 3 boxes set to always, it ought to be sending them. Any chance they’re hitting the spam filter?
No, not in spam. I’m receiving emails for PMs just fine btw…
