Anyone take their motors off the hanger yet? Im looking to see how theyre situated on the hanger without taking my only working drivetrain apart.
Im dying over here with TKP. I thought I loved it but fucking a I was wrong.
Getting these motors on an RKP hanger is likely my next project

Besides that big ass nut, whats holding the motor in place? / What does the hanger look like beneath it?

After the big-assed nut only friction holds the motor on the tapered square in the pikā¦
Iāve described removing the motors from the axle a couple of times already in this thread

Iāve been toying with this idea as well. Been trying to find a suitable hanger I can try and machine back for the square shoulder the motor needs.

Track down the revel OEM and setup a group buy for their rkp ones. Iām sure theyāll sell the drives without the ESC, etc. And I dont think Iāve heard anything about their axles breaking or anything

Iām not sure if the motors are the same length, if the threading for the motor nut is the same, blah blah blah
I donāt think dex will do it anyways, he doesnāt seem to like me much
