These look like the clamp method. Not the most secure
I hate this shit
I will let you know, you looking for a 4wd setup?
For the sake of the community you should inquire about both. I’m sure i’m not he only one that’s curious
edit: Ask if a group buy of drivetrains would convince them
im interested, but it seems that it only allows pneumatic tyre with special design hub inside.
I doubt it. They probably accept standard tubes and tires.
Just listened to that video. I’d say I’m pretty confident my moon straight cut beta drives are equally as loud. The Idea of those drives seems pretty neat.
For sure you can make an adapter and on the website they list different hub sizes. No big deal there.
@jack.luis By the picture the gear is
81 - 32 -18
so 4.5 reduction, not bad!
I have solid wheels on mine, no air here.
Some kind of foam is inside.
Some options from their website
i only own the first one.
4.5 is fantastic! These are tempting. Full independent suspension sounds incredible
Truth. Mine seem louder than that video.
Someone should make the gear case lids inside textured like a sound room to dampen the sound.
They sound sick but you are not holding a conversation with someone at speed let alone be heard through a TSG pass and over those drives haha. My JBL flip has to be played at damn near full volume or I cant hear it at speed lol.
So like what are the drawbacks of these type of drives. I liked the drives that mounted the motors facing out. What ever happened to those?
They do state not to use the gear profile and that its only visual properties only. I think you can mark the message not to show up more times so thats why u probably forgot.
Just opened it up for the first time 2 weeks ago, must have missed the pop up.
I wonder why the motor cover have holes in them?
Just begging for dirt and pebbles to jam it up
I taped them shut.
I wanted to watch it… but as soon as i saw the pants i turned it off.
