so my dad has birthday soon and hes shown interest in seeing me build stuff and wanted to build an ebike, im gonna buy a 26" gravel bike and need to electrify that bad boy, anyone know of any good ebike kits or selling one? no budget limit really but it should cost less than a pre built
ive seen a lot of of kits like this on sites like amazon or aliexpress but they all look kinda sketchy and are missing parts or sold out
Can’t vouch directly for that kit but it seems they’re not all junk? This guy is one of my favorite nerds and seemed to enjoy this thing
interesting, but the battery smaller than my laptop one and no screen is pretty crap for 550$
Yeah that’s pretty rough, I’ll let people who actually know what they’re talking about give more info but I’d almost definitely stick with one of those hub motors instead of try to mess around with attaching mid drive motors to chain drives and pedals and stuff
