There is very little on an electric skateboard that if it broke would not cause a dangerous situation
Like wise, any other vehicle on planet Earth for that matter!
A simple stupid car could get on fire with a broken gas fuel line; or ram a dozen people over the sidewalk if it loses hydraulic braking fluid coming down the hill; or kill a baby if the magnetic doors won’t open and the power windows automatically go up on a hot summer day.

Idk how people are so jealous of borderline authoritarian governments like this.
The government should be as uninvolved in citizens everyday life as possible. A motorized skateboard is no more a menace to society than a fucking bicycle.
