They are the proper height for insulating 21700 p-groups, and can easily be made to work for 18650 p-groups as well. I use them in my battery building all the time, and they are very convenient.
Thatās kinda out of my control right now, but I can tell you that itās a very high priority for me.
Any chance youād sell it as a roll in bulk? The ebay seller I got my 70mm paper rolls ran out and I rather support you anyways.
Thereās an option on here for un-cut, by-the-meter sheets
If you want to discuss bulk pricing, feel free to PM me and let me know how much you would like to buy
oh on the topic of things you should sell:
I think you should make some PCBs that you can attach 3 cells on but the traces do not go across so you can choose to make the PCB brick into a 3S1P or a 1S3P, then it has the traces for balancing the 3S1P routed that you just ignore if using as 3P.
Multi use!!
I was actually thinking 4S lifepo4⦠but I think also the PCB could be made for 21700 wide and work for 26650.
Then I would design a printed case that you can also mount a USB C PD and buck regulator!!
Yep Iām working on that Lots of stuff on my plate right now
Thatās a very interesting idea
Well, Metroboard and Hoyt finally announced it so I suppose that means I can stop being cagey and evasive about it
These future batches of the Metroboard X will have, in addition to these sweet new 12s4p P42A batteries, a full upgraded electronics package to back it up. Itās a really slick upgrade that I think is going to make the board even more capable and fun to ride
Future Hoyt battery systems to be announced at a later date
This contract is also huge for DBS. I will have a LOT less time for custom work, so if you have requested custom work and I have told you I am busy, this is why
Metroboard and Hoyt are both awesome companies, and I am really looking forward to the upgrades they are making to their lineups going forwards. This is going to be an awesome partnership for sure
P.S. just to get out ahead of this: No, this does not mean that DBS will be running customer support for Metroboard or Hoyt. If you are a MB or Hoyt customer, please direct all your customer service needs through them. If they diagnose a battery issue, they will loop me in on the back end and I will work with them to get you sorted out
Dude, thatās awesome!! Glad your blowing up!
Thanks dude
Sooooo stoked for you dude
Iām chopped liver for selling the board for so fucking cheap right?
Finally saw pictures of this. Great job on the battery Benji.
Damn, this is fantastic man, wish u all the best!
u hiring any cheap chinese labor by any chance? lolll jk
Does this make you the new Big Ben in town?
I am the BIGGEST BEN.
Thanks dude!
Heh heh maybe, but probably not. Shipping costs are one of the many reasons why Metroboard was looking to go local with their battery production.
Thereās a chance I will be looking for battery labor in the Portland area though, so if anyone knows anyone who might be interested in that, drop me a line!
Congrats! What a great opportunity.
Auntie Donnaās? Iāve tried to explain how fuxkin insane this show is to people and end up just cementing my insanity in whomeverās view Iām blabbing to. I honestly canāt believe itās been allowed to continue existance in the current āsocio-politicalā climate, but damn what a gem. Hi-fuckin-larious!
Yes! Best duck ever! Congrats
