Nice! You have a double drop version?
Not yet for now since before production I asked people if they wanted the deck with or without drop trough.
More people wanted without for the groundclearance so we started with this one.
Maybe in the future me might do a double drop deck.
I’m wondering if anyone out there has done a double drop deck that is fully catered for esk8 purposes yet - includes the top recess for batteries and controllers. I’ve seen this done with baguettes and potatoes, and other minis, but none of the double drop variants thus far… who’d be the first or do i stand corrected?
I’ve seen some people with drop decks (mounting the trucks on the bottom still)
But use FAT risers for clearance that pretty much negate the entire drop. Why is this…?
Alot of the time its due to the motor clearance, they want to forward mount them but when the deck drops down that low, you end up bottoming out the deck on the motors.
My evo fit forward mount perfectly though,
oh yeah, that makes much more sense
So I have been designing a deck to make out of cf. I was looking into a more classic drop down deck then reading through all of this and the other forum have led me to look into a more Subsonic Century style. Attached is a picture of a possible mold design, though instead of one side up and another down I would have them both be slanted upwards. Any thoughts? I am aware of the challenges of a cf deck in terms of construction. I am asking more about the shape.
In the next few months I hope to develop a double drop made out of composites. The goal would be a complete integration with a top access.
Hey dude, do you happen to have a video of the flex from the manta decks? I’m currently searching for a deck.
