Drilling new holes for trucks

Need to drill new holes for trucks to fit X sink plates. Is there any additional hardware I will need for strength etc. Also since ill need new holes I was thinking of moving the rear trucks back leaving just over a centimetre on the rear. For an under mounted motor this might be better or will it likely lead to the tail snapping

If you moved it that far back, I would also add a layer or two of fiberglass to the bottom of the deck

I’m not sure if it will help much, but I’m doing something similar and I have also filled drop through hole with fiberglass.
