Is there anyone out there that can take a look before I buy the hangers and fail?
Narrower hangers e.g. 150mm

Wasn’t this a whole project with dickoz
nah he wanted a clamp located in red part of the pic
I want the pressfit clamp located in orange part of the pic
Gotcha so you just wanna see if it’ll actually push in all the way without hitting
I just want it to push in like it does on 200mms
Or at least enough to get away with it, Ive got setcrews on my pressfits. If 2 of the surfaces are mating I should be fine.
Or JB weld
Been a while since I’ve had both sizes in my hands, but I’m almost positive the entire geometry is shrunken, by a decent amount too. I.E. - no, wouldn’t work. Unless there’s set screws on every side.
Well thats news that I didn’t want to hear
Thanks though. They dont look the same in pictures thats for sure.
Just to bug him, @Arzamenable has a gold pair of 176mm he should be able to check against Rob’s.
The 200mm’s are fuckin chunky tbh. Was really confused at just how much more mass compared to other sizes
Send me some press fits and I’ll try them on the ones I have?
(then I can keep them for my carver…)
I just focused on the part that you circled in one of the figures above. Not sure about the end profile. Sorry
you have narrow hangers?
Yes, I will get the calibers out. They’re not quite as narrow as you want. They’re the ones with the installed 8mm axles. (Sent you a photo the other night you spoon)
Still need them measured?
Would it be easier to measure the differences between the 176mms and 200s or shall I send you a file that you can print and check. Could also send the clamps to you
There is a gap, but they stay put under compression due to the recessed area near axle. Robs damn board has red locktite on the shoulder bolts, or I would break out the calipers.
Was gonna say what has been said, but psychotiller pressfit mounts will work with 176mm hangers but not the LR designs mounts. Been running that setup for some time now and it easily fits dual 6365 motors. Or you can wait for @akhlut to release the new shoulder bolts with mounting plates attached, then sky’s the limit!!
They’re coming! Waiting on CNY to finish.
