Diyeboard airless wheels

Yes, they are from diyeboard. They work fine if your not going more then 25mph. I do warn that they do wobble and start expanding over 35mph, so buy them at your own risk. Asking 50$ but somewhat negotiable. They are the black ones

Nope, do you have a link?

Zipties through hub and around nearest cheese holes in urathane mmaners mod

I didn’t, I had mine on beta 6 shooters and it didn’t work on them.

Any idea on what to do with them? Only one wobbles a lot

Ah memory failure. Anyway someone did this with the solid hubs being sold here

Does anyone know if these will fit on superstar wheels? TRAMPA’s site says 6,7 and 8 inch tires

Could you measure your hub?

heloo, sorry to dig this thread up again - has anyone had experience with these tires in terms of comfort and vs pneumatic tires?

Pneumatic tyres are softer, even when pumped to 50~60 psi, which is usually a high pressure for esk8 pneumatic wheels.

The airless tyres just feel hard to me

Thanks for sharing the experience - though I’m sure not as hard as thanes? in between - looks like ether are now using them for their new AT board.

I’ve had the polar opposite experience. The newer airless tires are hard, but the original 2016-17 ones were way way too soft. Extremely comfortable, extremely inefficient. So soft they stretched off the rim at speeds. They also wear completely around 500-750 miles

I feel like it’s only worth having airless if you don’t want to risk popped tires…being able to pressurize gives so much better results

All this is very true, really comfy wheels but super super inefficient. The wheel pulleys that come with them are horrible, don’t even think of buying them. You’re best bet is getting the dickyho airless

Tbh, the “alibaba wheels” (6x2 pnumatic ones, you know the ones) are pretty much just as cheap, but pneumatics are amazing. Adjust the PSI to do whatever you want with them, and the ride is more carvy imo.

As long as there is not a large risk of punctures on your commute, @spade get you some pnumies
