DIY Wheels - Hollow Wheels - Very Comfy

Being devils advocate maybe he just genuinely knows how to build a board and doesn’t care for others opinions. I definetely agree with you it is a bit foolish of him, but who knows ha. He could he a social recluse who had peoplephobia

He knows how to build exactly 1 board, over and over haha. He’s a good kid, don’t get me wrong.

I get this, but theres a lot of non-opinion info on here. A lot of it being hyper critical to a safe board.

But lets not derail this thread.

What is it about New Yorkers and the need to know things other people don’t, be the first to know something, and/or prove they are right all the time?

Looking at his last chart, I would think at least one more month

Yep I did, I expected it to take a long time, it may have sounded like complaining but that wasn’t my intention.

100% facts right there. When I saw this and he proposed his initial date its the sort of thing that you throw out the window and disregard because most projects take way longer than initially planned for. If you bought in, you had faith to get a good product, you didn’t buy for the proposed time line and if you did well sad news because you should never expect estimated timelines to come true… then if your wrong it’s a delight that it did come true. Good news is if your unhappy with the wait time you can probably back out because I’m sure he has plenty of other people wanting them

Edit: Not directed towards anyone, just advice in general to most people who have doubts about anything like this

Thanks so much. Working as much as I can. The blog is updated as the same time as I post a big update on this forum.

I’ll try my best to respond to all the comments later tonight. I’m still doing testing and finding more things so I am trying to get some cohesive thoughts before I make a complete ass of myself with my upcoming update.

@sleepless In Shutter’s defense, I didn’t think I would have the durability issues that I would have. So it’s really my fault.

Nah, it’s trial and error. Untested waters come with unexpected issues, its just the name of the game which I’m sure you know. Don’t blame yourself, your doing the best you can with manufacturer waittimes and crazy delays

To be clear, I wasn’t trying to attack @ShutterShock in any way. My apologies if my comment was aggressive.

Just explaining that’s the nature of the beast. No one’s fault. That’s how R&D goes. Any schedule is P50 at best until the very end.

Yep yep

Either way I’m excited to test em out when they arrive and I have plenty of time to get the script and testing ready

Them NYC streets are rough, and so are the people. Lol

Excited to ride them as soon as they are ready too

Yep - London Streets are waiting @TheGoodMomentum , the surfaces here are challenging - but that adds to the adrenaline.

I only ride Urethane, so i’m ready to receive my order (#2305)

The internal connections can’t handle the surfaces i ride on, but the 100mm Boa’s are pretty good.

Ship them soon please Doug, even if an unfinished test set. I’ll put 'em through their paces. You have my email, so if there’s any possibility . . . .

My sets gonna be testing the smooth hot steets of palm beach x) got a set of pullies too just in case and for higher torque. Doug’s customer service was top notch too, I should add, combined everything for me nice and easy. Can’t wait to try em out.

I bet these will be good on rough roads, but smooth streets these will probably be incredible.

The small surface area of contact when rolling straight will probably be pretty decent on battery

Honestly I’m surprised the skate scene isn’t bigger here the roads are great. My 6 mile ride to work has exactly one rough patch thats all worn down cuz its literally surrounded by water, and has a good quarter mile of flawlessly smooth black tarmac. Ive been running airless rubber cuz they shred through the rain and it never stops this time of year, but I got these cuz I really would like my range back xD
