It is, but the bearing stack is prone to getting stuck/jammed on the axle because it’s basically impossible to pull the gear off straight. If it’s even a little crooked on the axle, it will jam.
I’ve found that it’s best to gently pry under one side of the gear until it jams, then move to the other side (180°) and pry under that side. Repeat, trading off which side of the gear you’re (gently) prying under to “walk” the gear up off the axle.
