i mean its not crazy as hobby brushless can have 6 wires broken out to allow delta / wye or 6 phase control, But this is not supported my most hobby ESC’s.
Oh no i got confused with the post you were replying too.
Never mind me.
I might be blind. But i never saw where I can fill out a form (or something) so I can order 1x dual NEObox. Any help please?
@JohnyEzz check up top, there’s a form in the OP.
EDIT: my bad, wrong thread. The forms in the neoBOX single thread
What’s the benefits of 6 phase over 3?
Smoother control I’d imagine. Even better (more powerful) FOC
6 is more than 3. More is better. Water bottles.
@jeffwuneo I really think this is a language thing… are you saying each motor will have 6 phase wires or the dual controller will have 6 phase wires?
As I understand it 6 phases doubles the ability for power delivery however the increase of value drops past 6 phases
Yes 6 phase wire per motor. We not do this now, but I say before can if use MR connector for have better current flow for motor.
For neoBOX dual we use 6 layer PCB with 3oz copper and use large trace for power stage. We just use 3 phase per motor now and with 10 AWG wire connect.
I can’t find it either.
Is only survey for neoBOX now not dual yet.
Hello friends, our factory have permission for open today from government and our worker start to returning. Some still needing 14 day quarantine. We work on neoBOX dual and prepare for making. I share update in maybe 1 week with picture of layout and case design we making also.
We integrate switch and NRF module for neoBOX Dual and it can showing colour for power level of battery also and use for pairing for NRF module.
For NRF module it can work with VESC® application for phone and also many remote like the OSRR from @DerelictRobot
Do I have enough comm ports, if the nrf chip is directly on the pcb?
Yes have two UART port.
Is it possible to update the nrf module?
That was needed in the past already, so would be good to know.
Yes can easy updating from UART or phone.
