Well i was very happy and enjoying my finished project until it broke after about 2 days of having it finished the clip that was holding on to the cables that go to the motor snapped off one of the 3 power cables going to the motor came off, I didint notice it but it was presumably dragging on the pavement for a while until it wore through the protection around the wire and the wire was exposed and the board just shut off, after getting home and repairing the wire i decided it would be best to rerun the vesc set up and after completing it it for some reason the motors came back as sensor less for some reason even tho they weren’t and after switching around the motors from side one to the other side of the vesc to check if the hall sensors would come back after turning it on the green light on the secondary vesc just wouldn’t turn on and i could no longer see that vesc in vesc tool or via connecting to it directly. I opened it up and tested voltages and the 3.3 voltage rail that gose to the smt32 (The controller) was only showing about 1.3V and 37 Ω of resistance
im not sure if my smt32 is dead or the regulator is dose anybody have experience with this and can lead me in the right direction, Thanks!
Build Info
-Deck Evolve Bamboo Gtr
-Battery Original evolve gtr battery with the bms bypassed
-Motor Controller Flipsky Dual FSESC6.7 Plus
-Motors 2× Flipsky 6374 190KV
Voltage info
Working side ( Number 1 according to flispky)
Regulator voltage=3.3 v And resistance is 96Ω
Non Working side
regulator voltage= 1.3 v resistance is 37 Ω
Theres also a whine thats quite loud without motors connected, (Only on battery dosent appear on 12v test bench)
Let me know if more info is needed i would really like to get this fixed and please dont remind me about how bad of a decision it was to buy a flispky vesc im aware lol im dealing with the consequences
