Holy shit two years later the prophecy comes true!

You asked for it.

Only X-brackets for now. Will be available for purchase in the DAVEGA e-shop soon now (DAVEGA X-bracket – shop.davega.eu).

Honestly, I wonder what people think about the finish. It seems that it doesn’t work that well on mostly flat shapes compared to more curvy shapes. It’s still nice and shiny and definitely catches the eye but the oily effect is only to be seen where the shape bends and there’s not much of that on this particular X-bracket. So it’s mostly shiny green or yellow depending on the light.

I think that a DAVEGA or Megan housing would probably come out similarly. Is that what people long after regardless?

Im not a big fan of oil slick myself, but I kinda like the look of it on a flat surface. Appears like the whole thing is changing colors at once instead of it being a swirl of colors.

That being said, my vote is for blue, purple, and green anos.

Imagine getting stuck with esk8’s skinny jeans type phenomena overstock.

So only get a few for the critically unfashionable & charge them 20% extra. Keep stock numbers underrepresented on the store.

Sorry oilers :kissing:

is there a way to see all 4 motor temps?

Not at the moment but it should be a fairly easy update. Let me see what I can do.

Done and released as v5.07rc. Sorry this took so long.

(My test ESCs don’t have any motors connected. That’s why the temp shows up as large negative numbers.)

Stoked - thank you! It works perfect on my 4wd.

What new features are there with v5.07rc update besides the 4wd?

There’s nothing else at the moment.

As of now, DAVEGA is officially discontinued and the DAVEGA e-shop accepts no more orders.

I still have some spare parts. If you need anything, please PM me or email info@davega.eu.

Also, no worries, DAVEGA server will keep running and I will continue supporting existing DAVEGAs as needed.

You could probably see this coming when we joined forces with @rpasichnyk and started Voyage Systems. It made sense for me to keep the DAVEGA shop running while I still had stock on hand but it proved really difficult to juggle two businesses AND a daily job. Also, there was an apparent decline in DAVEGA interest so I decided not to have another batch made and instead focus my efforts on Voyage Systems.

I’m not yet sure what happens with DAVEGA. I definitely have a weak spot for it even now that Megan is around, which is better in almost every way. It might be we’ll bring DAVEGA (or its variant) back as Voyage Systems but this is yet to be seen.

A hard call, but the right call. On to bigger and better things with Voyage Systems! You and Roman are building on the shoulders of the giant that was Davega, so you cant go wrong

Hi, I am afraid my Davega X just died. My usplit was powering my davega and a wire between the usplit and esc was burnt. I changed the usplit and checked the voltage of the cable going into davega and it is 3.3v. The screen does not turn on but there is a red LED flashing quickly. This also is the case when connecting via microusb. I just tried upgrade to 5.01 (yes overdue) but it says failed to connect to esp32. Is it dead?

It might be that only the display is dead. Sometimes connecting to ESP32 fails because of a bad USB cable. You may want to test a few different cables before giving up. It of course could be the ESP32 is dead as well and then there’s unfortunately not much you can do.

It makes the plugged in windows sound and I see it on drivers when I connect the microusb. When I try to connect and manually select the port it says access is denied. I see the screen flashes for a split second repeatedly. Am I meant to keep the 3 buttons connected here?

Is the COM3 really the DAVEGA? If you disconnect DAVEGA, does the COM3 disappear?

Yes it is

Maybe try running the installer as administrator then.

I ran the .exe as admin and still get the same error
