I like huge decks. The Northcamp here that we designed is right on from a 40 kmh track and up and fast street riding. When the track gets tighter with a few tight hairpins it is still ok but then I prefer to narrow the wheelbase a bit.

Wheelbase on the Northcamp when using 3-links is 42”

On a tight 35kmh track I like a 36” wheelbase better.

But I am not done experimenting. I still want to see if I can make the wheelbase bigger on the tight tracks by having the radius rods street side on bit the front and rear truck. Normally wer run the rods board side on the rear.

As it is now I dont see the purpose in having a wheelbase between these two. And should I choose between the two I would go for the 42”. Most of my rinding when outside is relatively fast street riding. There the 42” fits perfectly.

Here is an exsample of a 50kmh track where the 42” felt good to me:

And here my winter short track (40kmh) and tight hairpins where I feel better on 36” but 42 is usable:

When the tracks gets tighter the 36” would likely be preferred.

Ok i got you
So with the 3 links its not a big issue to ride a 42“ wheelbase board on a cart track?
