Damn they went downhill? Most I followed them was when Casey Neistat was promoting them. That was a good while ago.
I see they actually have a link for the wheels up I’ll check it out

After v1 they moved to 'in house ’ components that just didn’t hold up. The trucks axles would bend, and I’ve heard of a few decks snapping
I mean I figure they’ve fixed the trucks by now but… Ehhh
Hmm damn well I’m still interested to hear a review of these wheels on a real board!
Was the introduction of the Stealth that point of delineation? I seem to remember something about that.
Nah the regular wooden colored deck had the truck issue, but you’re right about the stealth, its the introduction of the in-house deck
Yea boosted v1 is by far better than the in house Chinese crap on v2
V2 still had, mostly, American parts. V3 they started to go “in house”.
You are right. It’s mostly the truck construction and the wheels. I have heard many many reports of broken trucks in v3 and not so stellar wheels.
Oh I thought they were still rocking OEM otang 80mm
Obviously they had this cooking up.
???
Those photos make them look really thin
52cp isn’t that thin
This very narrow. Is not good for stable.
52CP would make them as about as narrow as the Abec 97’s or a set of Popoca’s. Both of which I have taken to 30+ no problem.
But 80mm Kegel is 56mm. This is too narrow for 100mm.
We all like decent wide wheels, but if we want to be realistic, stability is about setup as well the rider. We often relay too much on the setup. The truth is that you need balls and experience to push whatever setup to its limit, which is often more than you think. I believe 99% of the people here (counting myself) do not push their set up strong enough to actually get even closer to the limit. Not speaking about speed only but also hard carving ecc… 52mm wheels are plenty and still have a lot of agility to give. Of course we all agree that wider wheels are good looking and save your ass on curbs and rails, but concerning stability I see downhill guys hitting crazy speed and slide with wheels that we would thing are not good to get to grocery shop
Just my two cents of course.
any updates?
nice, since when?
since negative amount of time – doesn’t even have pictures of them on the store
