Current situation on 100mm Kegel wheels? Please update me

Only if they hold up in the wet. If there were urethane wheels that didn’t slip in the rain, then I would throw my pneumatic build plans out the window

Do the diy harfang thing on them?..

We need a test to see if ‘harfang’ actually make a difference

E: a REAL test. No ‘but muh numbers from spec sheet’

Foamies are not too bad on wet streets.

But those are the best I tested so far, even if they are not PU.
But you can use them just with hub motor boards.

72a is heading towards being way too soft, and at 110mm you start to give away torque, super soft wheels can also reduce range.

Its a very tricky thing to get urethane mixture right, even colors can throw a spanner in the works.

I remember the clear red 97mm wheels Metroboard put out years ago with Abec11, and they ended up being lower quality to the standard pink/green. Evolve had the same issue with the Black 107mm.

I got my Boa’s arriving next week, so will see how they ride. If they are as good as the previous batches, then that should put an end to the theory that only USA has the ability to make high quality wheels.

Still just my initial impressions, but they feel like china-thane. Not terribad china-thane, but the rebound still isn’t quite right. The wildly offset core helps them feel better on the road.

I asked them before I purchased and they said it was the same quality as their previous Hemotox thane formula, but improved a bit more, so I have high hopes they will be the same, if not better than the old versions. The proof is in the ride, and the reviews I guess, so we will all know shortly as it looks like many sets are shipping out.

Sounds like marketing talk, but you’re right, all that matters is how they ride. Like I said elsewhere, these feel real similar to my cal-7 97mms, but ride very different (mostly better).

Speaking of Harfang, I noticed that Sickboards have blue kegels and caguamas with it in stock:

Don’t sleep on sickboards. I picked up some harfang’d biggie hawgs in Jan for $25.

I buy some for testing. I take detail photo for friends. And I ask my friend to riding for me. So can see if good quality or not.

I order yesterday and getting today.
