Couple of questions/Remote jump/Heatshrink

I have a a few questions I’ve been meaning to ask the community. I can only think of two right now but wil add on as needed.

Firstly, whenever i turn on my mini remote, my board jumps forward/jolts a bit. This has happened with the two different ESCs i have used on this board thus far. I have however been using the same motors and battery setup for both ESCs.

Secondly, where can I get heatshrink that is nice and flexible after shrinking down? I used some regular stuff o n some hall sensor wires and its very inflexible.

If you turn the remote off with the board on, do the wheels start turning or applying brake?

I haven’t tried this yet. ill have to see when I reassemble my board

If it does, you need to set the failsafe because it’s dangerous not to.

I set the failsafe when i bound it.

I’ve never used anything that’s very flexible. Probably the same as what you’re experiencing. It helps if you have the bend you’re looking for in the wire/tubing before you apply heat, if that makes sense…

Quick Google search gave me this though.

i googled before asking my friend.

I saw that too. But its definitely geared towards contracts with big companies. Dont see buying options for individual consumers.

Use “thin wall heat shrink tubing” as search term. The thin wall stuff tends to be more flexible.
