So I was adding LEDS to everyone’s (family) boards, and of course shaky hands, bad eyes, and being in a rush caused me to smoke one side of the dual esc on my boys board. He absolutely loaths it and I don’t blame him. Plus it just doesn’t stop well at all now.
The board is a “VEVOR” board… so essentially one of the cheaper Meepo boards. Someone has to have one of these, or an alternative esc they could donate to the little man?
To add insult to injury, mom took a digger couple weeks back and we learned she has forgotten the tuck and roll. I was ahead of her 30ft or so and I heard the SMACK of the full face helmet hitting the asphalt. She was fine… but the remote was a yard sale. I managed to put most it back together and the screen even looks good still. But the thumb wheel has a spring and it ran for the hills. So poor kid is fighting the one wheel on an angled deck with the wrong trucks (printed angle spacers to help fix that), and now his mom flat stole his remote because she broke her’s. 
I already promised out my spare change for the next while to a few different folks but I feel bad for the kid who can’t ride his esk8 hardly with winter rapidly approaching
