Connect two VESCs to a battery

Hi, I connected both Vescs (2 positive and 2 negative) to same battery wire and Vescs with can bus, but didn’t work. but is that must connect only one Vesc positive to battery like this pics

You connected them in series. Don’t do that, ESCs dont work that way. Wire them in parallel

Connect all positives to each other
Connect all negatives to each other
p.s you should probably do more research before you blow something up

thanks, yes they are parallel, I find they have this on off JST 2.0 CONNECTOR, my Vescs are 2 TRONIC X12

i connected middle and on pin with voltmeter and it lights up, can i just solder together and den power on with roll to start and off with Vesc only?

You should contact them for instructions :face_with_peeking_eye:

It has to have support for roll to start feature - gonna have to get them to clarify how to do it but there isn’t any reason it shouldn’t work if it’s possible on the esc.

I like to have a button because some of the lingyi esc i have roll to start on will just randomly not wanna do it sometimes. Annoying but not enough to want to figure it out to fix ¯_(ツ)_/¯

i tried run detection but had a spark inside motor mesh, motor are new MAD 6495

Seeing a spark in there makes me think that you may have used bolts that are too long and damaged your windings?

yes i read here reacher needs longer bolt and I used 15mm
