Such a cool deck! I’d probably start with the blem version too. Is it just the light scuffing on top? That would show up after a few rides anyway. ![]()
Have any cool plans for grip tape? Gotta show off that carbon somehow.

I love the idea of clear grip tape on just the areas of my feet. The blem board is in great condition. I’ll scratch it during use. I still can’t use my Propulsion Boards USA Company Fail! Still waiting on the replacement part. It’s been a month now. It has RPK trucks & has a flat deck. I’ll probably move everything over to the new Hummie deck.
So, what’s next? “Reminder I Am A Fatty, 6’4”, 280lbs. I have cruised on my RPK and TPK trucks. I bought a Linnpower Zephr since Propulsion Boards has taken so long; it has DKP. I love the carving feel of the DKP on 95A bushings. So I’m leaning that direction and looking for a super-strong set of DKP trucks.
Torque Board has a nice belt setup, but I’m also liking the gear drive from Boardnamics, but the Kegal is out of stock! If it helps any, I’ll stay with 170KV motors.
Does anyone have any Fatty Truck recommendations? Thanks for following and commenting. I tried shooting videos, but I need a stick!
I love clear grip—ran it for a while. I ended up doing a sticker bomb underneath, just wish it didn’t come out so “frosted” looking.
I’m sure you’ll hear this a lot, but Duality’s are hands-down the strongest trucks you can get.
I’m a heavy rider too and tend to break everything… but I’m fully confident I won’t break the Duality’s. They feel really similar to DKP, just way more stable and planted.
If you’re leaning DKP but want something beefy, that’s the move.
Duality Trucks has a flat-deck version. They look tough as nails! 10mm & 12mm Axles.
Yeah! I’ve got the 270mm and 240mm, plus hangers for the 210mm. If you’re thinking about them, I’d be happy to share fitment pics and give you my take—they’re honestly way beefier in person than you’d expect.
They’re definitely pricey, but I seriously doubt you’d ever need to buy another set.
