So I was looking around for some 10 inchers…
so I went to harbor frieght and those tires labeled 10 in are actually 4.10-4(11in) tires not 3.00-4 (10in). Upon arrival at this conclusion I spotted these absolutely gorgeous coral colored bar tread 2.50-4 labeled 8 in. Which it is 9in but slimmer slightly than 2.80x2.50-4. Bought a set for 34 dollars.
They say max 30 but I’m running 45-50 currently
Also the in store label says two pr but the tire itself says four pr
Once again, that’s 34 dollars for 4 x tire, tube, hub. 2.50-4.
WHAT A DEAL!
Requires 4 in hub for 9 inchers. Unless you want to make spacers for the hub it comes with and a 5/8 to 12 mm or similar reducer sleeve
Will report durability, so far they have changed my life hahahah, no loss of agility as far as I’m concerned, maybe it’s heavier but I train often and intense so I can’t tell. I can traverse much rougher areas and the same terrain with more grip and speed. Also took it off a couple jumps at the skate park and the landings feel way smoother
Have you tried the 10" tires? They’re only $4 each including the hub, so they should be way cheaper. You may need to adapt the hub it comes with though, since I don’t think it’d fit on any standard hub currently.
Like he said, their 10" tires are actually 4.10/3.50-4, which are ~11" tall tires. They will only fit on 4" hubs, and wide ones at that. 11x4.10 is a bit much for most of us.
This guy is a 2.8/2.50-4. so ~9x3. Would fit most 4" hubs.
Fixed pics! Also did some burnouts and the rubber seems pretty tough, doesnt feel soft like some tires I’ve had. So I’m assuming its medium to hard compound
I used these tires for a bit… they are pretty garbage imo. Flaky soft rubber, unbalanced, overall wonky. I did pick up the 10 inch (11 inch) tires and printed some spacers and sleeve for my superstars. The quality seems much better on the 10 inchers. Will test and report.
