That’s what she said.

@Yeahthatperson I still can’t get that night run that started on the top of Tabor out of my head.

Tabor >> Hawthorne >> Downtown >> SW Waterfront >> Terwilliger >> Cemetery >> River Loop

We’re gonna have to do that one again next year.

Post CarvePDX battle scars.

Fun was had. Gonna need a CF & resin patch kit, definitely took off the outer layers in a few spots :joy:

Thoughts on adding some thin delrin skid plates on the enclosure bottom panels?

I was actually wondering about the same thing after last weekend. Almost tossed some grip tape on the enclosure just to keep it from getting more worn, but then wondered if I’d later regret trying to remove it.

That’s an interesting idea, you could also consider a thin plastic layer, kind of like the clear bra stuff they put on the front of cars

I think it would have to be pretty thick & durable. Thinking 3mm delrin panels would provide some decent added protection.

Biggest issue right now is that the enclosure material doesn’t hold up well to abrasion at all. Impact & flexing yes, but dragging these enclosure edges over obstructions just peels layers back.

i have slices in my flux enclosure. Pretty sure i was skating on razor blades at some point, but who knows. Things got pretty wild.

i’ve got some video but i was mostly there to ride and not cam. I did get pics of almost everyone’s sweet ass builds though, so i’m going to throw a video together soon with what i got.

I wonder how the enclosure would fair if the outer layer were made of aramid. Someone capable of making enclosures from composites should try out it out and report back.

i have spark loads in the tail of my dinghy. Pretty sure @rusins was able to throw some sparks with it.

Gotta admit, the part I’m most sad about is not getting to meet raisins. Did you guys all bring red beanies?
