(CA, US) WTB red MBS shock blocks

Amazon. I’ve bought from 3 vendors so far, the cheapest 2 are actually better (clamp fits better, the one I’ve put some miles on has been leak free, vs the expensive one leaking almost immediately and one of the ball joints working loose.) I thought the style with the reservoir running the entire length of the cylinder would perform better / last longer, but for $10 more, was total junk. It sure is pretty, with counterfeit laser etched “OHLINS” logo, but for $60 it was certainly meant to fool, and it fooled me.

These are the ones I’ve had best luck with: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NN8RSL1
and https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NAWFPK2/ref=twister_B07JLYPJCF?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I’m not sure I’m allowed to post photos yet, (just joined here recently,) but mounting was pretty simple… I added a steel L-bracket to my left motor mount plate, secured by 2x fasteners, then secured the end of the damper’s rod to a bolt sticking straight up from the bracket. On the back of the board, I used an extra plastic Matrix II top plate with a loooong 5/16 bolt where the hanger pivot bolt would go. The bracket for the damper is fixed to this bolt, which sticks out about 1in rearward of the bracket. I used 2x 3/8 flange nuts as bushings to support the rod.

I think you should create a thread about it (if there isn’t one already.) And add all of the how-to’s, descriptions, vendors, etc. I think it would go over pretty well. That’s what this forum is about.
