Looks can be deceiving, the true test is with the hanger installed, are there any issues

Hi @RipTideSports

When you have some time, if you can recommend me a setup for :
35" Drop deck
TorqueBoards 220MM CNC Trucks with 50D baseplates (RKP, they have your 93A right now)
110MM Wheels
Weight : ~65kg

Not a fast rider (max 30km/h), more cruising around type.

Thanks

What issues are you having?

Turning could be better. The kingpin is at minimum tightness right now.

What shapes and washers are the 93’s?

First thing to try is replace most of the cupped washers with flats but leave the boardside rear a cup washer

Hey Brad! Following 2 pretty bad tumbles as a result of speed wobbles (the last of which left me with a painful hematoma and an ER bill) I have come seeking advice to Not Do That Again. Thanks!

  1. I am using Haggy Board Kahua trucks and bergmeisters. Iirc 13mm boardside and 15 roadside?
    2: N/A
3.I love how carvey the stock bushings are but yeah I need to avoid wobbles for my health’s sake. Still need to be able to turn as this is used primarily in a downtown/residential area.
  2. I peak at around 30-32mph on my semi-regular transport rides and leisure rides.
  3. Hummie Deck. 0 wheel bite
  4. 180 lbs 5’11"

Let me know if I can give you any additional information to help you help me. Thank you!

trying to figure out what bushings are good with my Torqueboards direct drive.

Looks like it came with 93a streetbarrels. I’m 130lbs. The bushing did come installed upside down?? (round edge touching the washer) Not sure if that makes a difference but i did flip them.

This is my first RKP since the old boosted days.

I am
No bushing expert… buttttt I can almost certainly say 93a too hard for 130lbs

I’d drop that down to highest 90a… maybe even lower. I’ll let @RipTideSports advise further :call_me_hand::call_me_hand:

I would like to see what is in them currently. Bushing shapes, placement durometer and washers. Pictures would help to determine a couple of things

Bushing orientation can make a difference, especially in open bushing seats but i suspect the DD’s are more restrictive. @torqueboards was going to send me a truck but I have not seen it yet. Can I see a couple of pictures of he assembled trucks?

@Edness Sharp edge should be inside the hanger which means round edge should be against the washer. You should be fine? I think?

@RipTideSports I didn’t send one out yet. May change them up or fix them up so wasn’t certain if I should send you one out just yet.

@Edness Correction  Sharp edge against the washer. I have it backwards. :sob:
