Jkjk, I’m too light to test them out

Fixed baseplates will also be an option on my trucks. These will lower the cost a bit for those that don’t want the extra weight/parts and know what angles they want.

Coming in 30deg, 40deg, and 50 deg.

These baseplates will fit other Caliber based hangers too, right?

Yeah, baseplates and hangers will be available separately or all together as a complete

What’s the tentative price on a set of hangers and non adjustable. Baseplates?

I am really hoping I can do $100 a set but it will likely be $120 a set.

You probably have thought this over already.
But as a 3rd party looking in, you’ve expanded your 2 item store (mounts, mounts with idler) into multiple items quite quickly (Caliber hangers, adjustable BP’s, 30, 40,50 BP’s). And these items cost significantly more to make.

Have you figured out how much inventory of each you’d be stocking? Do you have the funds to stock all of those? What if the 40 degree BP is less popular, and now you have a bunch of stock you need to get rid of? What if the 50 degrees is more popular than expected and causes huge delays?

I’d recommend holding off on the non-adjustable BP’s until the hangers and the adjustable BP’s go live and you get a feel on how things go so you don’t get overwhelmed/minimize risk in case something unexpected comes up.

No hate, just my honest opinion.
Coming from someone of making the mistake before.

Yes, I have been concerned with that as well. I am making a big jump forward and am willing to take the risk. I haven’t ordered any baseplates at all yet. All I have are hangers and a prototype. I have been allocating all my time in designing these baseplates to make them the very best. I never get anything made I don’t have confidence in.

Ill see how the hangers go and will expand accordingly.

You should consider a Precision clamp for your kit. The two piece is great for universal but a lower profile/ better clearance one made to fit would look much much nicer.
One piece c style clamp with more mounting options would be great especially because of the adjustable baseplate changing hanger angle.

I kind-of like how well the two-piece clamps grip the hanger. Seems easier for me to get them dialed-in and tight.

Of course they do stick down real far, maybe just turn it so the clamp goes across the diagonal of the truck to get it higher from the ground?

But have you tried a Precision clamp on a Precision hanger before?

It’s really amazing. I can almost run my psychotiller tkp clamps without the bolts.

Wait, you can put them on without a sand hammer!?

I never shelled out enough cash for a precision hanger. And I’m not sure if I want to replace all 20 of my hangers with precision ones, that sounds like a nice chunk of change.

But I bet it is better… a lot better…

It really is.
Ive used bkb, enertion, boardnamics, marc88, psychotiller and akhlut mounts on calibers and surfrodz. Gotta say the psychotiller tkp clamps are my favorite hands down.
Its a tight fit but when its on there it’s not going anywhere
