Boardnamics M1-AT Drive | Helical Steel MTB/AT Gear Drive

I’ve also tried with the box and even though it’s a single piece it only moves backwards too, but I haven’t really used any type of Loctite yet. Maybe with the Loctite it doesn’t move backwards

You should be ok once you put the gear drives together. Like @DuckBatterySystems said, there is a bearing in the outer case that will hold the wheel gear in place and prevent it from grinding into the inner case.

Also, you have straight cut gears, and those will help to hold the wheel gear in alignment as well.

I believe I would also need some sorta copper shim washers?

Then to really fix the issue straight cuts or like tapping the shaft for a screw.

Hi, does anyone know if my plate is compatible with the mbs mounting pattern? I’m currently rocking trampa superstars, but I would love to get those wheels from LandSurf, which have mbs pattern. Thanks!

yes that mounting plate is compatible with the mbs pattern. they’re the holes farthest from center

I can confirm what ash said. I’ve got that same drive using hubs with an mbs pattern

A bit of machining on the motor shaft, and some grinding on the gear and it fits perfectly.

what did you use to make the groove for the circlip?

I used my shop lathe to cut the shaft and the ring groove.
