Then they are 220kv, what maximum speed do you get on the bench with fully charged battery?
I think this may be your board’s performance limits generated from the ESK8 Calculator here.
@KfromtheBay advised me that a 2.2 - 2.5 ratio may be a nice balance of both speed and torque at times, if I understood them correctly. I think 3D Servisas gear drives are really cool, but there are limitations on the ratios so you might want to consider pneumatics to get your top speed up (it would be cool if 3D Servisas made some 3-gear-drive system for us thane riders so we have more ground clearance and ratio opportunities ).
FullY charged with the board upside down the wheels get to 40mph unloaded. It should be 47.
Use this calculator:
With this one you will get your correct maximum speed:
@eBoosted Just a heads up, I think Rick has limits on his account so he is having issues replying to you right now.
Thank you for the calculator! This confirms my numbers were right.
I also don’t understand why my ERPMs are 56k when they should be 66k. Something is seriously limited. I know they are 220kv motors amd I also know that the freewheel spin should be 47mph not 40. My top speed is 35-36 on flat land and I feel the 220kv kick in on full throttle. But then something is holding back.

How do I check limitations in FocBox Tool?

How do I use FocBox tool to confirm KV. What is this hall sensor stuff?” Amd how to test with hall sensors?
Thanks for the help!
I’ve tested these motors in Real-time and over and over they are 56k ERPMs. This tells me they are 170kv not 220kv. I highly doubt FocBox would limit my motor ERPMs. I just wish there was a way for me to confirm KV in the Focbox Tool.
Finally ur here rick after so long
I know lol
