Where do you even buy the full fingered ones? I’ve been on the lookout for new gloves, my fox bmx ones are destroyed and not really meant for esk8

They are getting them in soonish, well - spring next year likely. They made some changes as the Lycra on the finger tips was getting murdered by grip tape so it’s pushed them back.

Oh that’s a good idea to change. Shame that it will be so long though

Any personal suggestions for gloves? I will search the forum too but what do you use? I like the technology that goes into the flatland gloves, really cool, but I don’t see the point in spending that much on fingerless gloves.

I use the flatland fingerless gloves

I am sponsored by them though, I actually prefer the fingerless ones as I can operate a camera easily. They are great gloves tbh. I know there is a Black Friday deal on at the mo, but you can use my (non affiliate) code “leewright” to get 10% off anything there at any time.

Ah gotcha. I just figured my fingers would get destroyed if I fell, but I guess now that I think about it, my last fall was mostly palm damage.

Have you ever spilled with them?

Yeah, you should see the state of the palm protectors on mine

Haha well that’s enough for me. I’ll pick them up. Black Friday sale is a perfect opportunity

Can confirm, this did happen. 7 out of 10 fingers bleeding profusely.

That said, I fell and tumbled at 34mph and didnt have significant palm damage, and my wrists were totally fine. So they did the job for sure. Tore some big chunks out of the fabric holding in the palm protectors though.

I bought the Orsa leather and they are super nice. No one-way flexible plastic insert which I really like about the flatland gloves, but other than that they are way nicer than the flatland in just about every way.

I have yet to hit the pavement with them, so I have no data about how well they will hold up, but I imagine it will be better seeing as they are leather rather than thin textile palms.

Flatland got all their ideas from Knox (they work together) but that means the Knox Orsa textile gloves are really really similar to the flatlands gloves, but they have fingers.

how thick are the gloves? I always worry about loss of feel with the remote

What’s the link you got those flipsky 6374 battle hardened :call_me_hand:

Have you ever tried riding with slide gloves? I ride with a slide glove on my non-remote hand and a beefy mechanix glove on the other. My main reason for never wearing fingerless is that I knew when I hit the pavement my fingers would get rekt.

With the slide gloves and puck I’ve managed to slide out my falls :joy:

Btr leather gloves. These things are fucking solid. Slammed them on the asphalt, skate park, dirt park and they’re still trucking.

Velcro on the palm for a slide puck of your choosing

The more you wear them, the more the leather confirms to fit your hand.

They were so awkward when I got them but are now like my favorite pair of shoes.

Again, that leather is TOUGH

My favorite pair, too bad they discontinued them :slightly_frowning_face:

I feel bad for derailing the nice glove discussion, but Spintend is running a 15% off sale and free shipping for orders over 399 starting tomorrow.

Also, is anyone here down for buying 2 Ubox units for the 15% savings, with the agreement that I would buy the other one? It would be ~$240 for you, and I would cover shipping for my unit, provided you are in the states.

100% you should just buy two.
