BKB Xenith V2.1 - Fried DRV Chip

Curious to know if anyone does DRV chip repairs for $?

I have a brand new BKB Xenith V2.1 that I recently installed on a board. Was using VESC tool version 5.1 firmware. Performed motor detection 2 days ago and it worked just fine. Today I installed the remote and was going to set up PPM. Connected the Xenith via USB and autoconnected to VESC tool. Was going through the PPM set up wizard when the Xenith made a pop noise and shut down. Can’t get it to turn back on.

Took it apart and the DRV chip looks burnt. Reached out to BKB to see if they can help, but am doubtful that they will assist since I’m passed the 100 day warranty period.

If you can’t return and want it repaired, shoot me a PM. I have some DRV8301/03s in stock.
