Yes, it is for liFePo, but description states that they build custom bms for any chemistry/voltage.

I wondering why you asked if it gets warm or hot just sitting. My BMS that I hooked up yesterday is getting hot just sitting. Can you offer some insight for me?

I had faulty bms out of the factory. It was warm just sitting connected to battery. It drained 2 or 3 groups constantly.
I’d suggest you leave it for few hours and check what is going on.

Yep ironically doing that now. If it doesn’t stop in 3 hours ish. I’m going to disconnect it and order a replacement. Thanks for the quick response.

It didn’t help. It still was hot for hours.

The light is green because the BMS over voltage release is like 4.05 or something. You need to drain it to 95% charge and balance, over and over. They do it very slowly and with wide cutoff ranges, the impact in mAh is really small
