The rides I keep at the office, scooters ain’t that bad. Also got the onewheel in a long file cabinet
No big hills and i can’t see her riding much longer than 10km but that might change as she gets older.
I really am having a hard time finding anything that compares to the vsett 8, there are a few local options similar but don’t look to have the same build quality/aesthetic.
There are a lot of cheaper options but most have mixed reviews, the reviews for the vsett seem overwhelmingly good.
Its within the price range and ticks all the boxes plus more, i’m gonna keep looking but i’m fairly convinced at this point.
Vsett scooters are solid! Personally I don’t like those index finger throttle because it makes braking awkward, and if you adjust it lower, then you can’t see the screen. Might want to change it to a thumb throttle if you have that issue.
If you don’t want to fix flats get something with airless tires, such as the wide wheel pro.
That’s a cool idea! I get that DIY is in our blood, but it’s a $3 part on Ali

Agreed. I didnt mind at the time since it still allowed me to retain the oem throttle without having to make too many modifications. Its definitely something that can be replicated with a file and 3d printer.
Boosted rev 100% no scam
I actually got to ride one once. Local boosted rep had one that he would bring to group rides. It was… a scooter.
A damning criticism
When Jeffrey worked at last mile. Id come in after school and just yoink their rev for a minute.
First scooter I tried that had dual wheel drive which was kinda neat. It was zippy but not thrilling to ride around.
But you repeat yourself ![]()
Just teach her to ride esk8 and make her cool like us
Convince a teenage girl that something her dad is into is cool?
Good luck with that.
If her dad wasn’t cool would he buy her a PEV?
Obviously cool.
It doesn’t matter if he’s cool or not, it’s how she and her friends would perceive him and/or his act.
Alas, I have never played “teenage daughter”
I suck at this game.
They sell a skateboard handle on Amazon, It’s just a ball on the top so you can use it to lean with. but they made the base out of plastic
: I actually have one in a box somewhere that someone on builder welded for me years ago, helped my wife learn how to ride.

Haha shes been skating since she was 5. She can do it, shes just not super into it.
Scooters are skibidi
