Best geardrive ?

Hello,
I’m contacting you because I’m looking for a gear drive that can handle the highest rpm and is the most balanced.
I already have a setup that works very well, but it could be improved.

I’ve looked at ACEDEC, SUPERBEAST, and other gear drives.
Which do you think is best?
(I currently have an old 3D SERVISAS with DadBods, so it needs a Kegels adapter.)

I’m also looking for brands that would be interested in collaborating, because I’ve already equaled the world record.

Thanks in advance.

Wow, how does the underside look?

Regarding gear drives for urethane, bioboards and 3DServisas seem like good options. Boardnamics isnt in production anymore

Depends on your trucks and use case.

Stooge open gears for racing

If you can find apex jump drives those are sweet for both offroad and urban cruising.

Boardnamics used to be the budget king of gears but no more, maybe used.

Omni drives seem great but are very limited in their truck options.

@Ean.esk8 still does gear drives right? 4GS iirc?

@MBS gear drives look awesome but haven’t really been around long enough for people to know for sure.

@Janux-esk8 has been working on some helical drives too

Do you have videos of you riding this thing anywhere?

Super cool.

Look for (or make) something straight cut, only steel gears, and mod 1.5. That’s what going to give you the best reliability and strength.

Unfortunately I don’t think there’s any gear drive in existence that meets all these requirements for street wheels

I’m open and adaptable to any gear drive system, even if it’s the complete truck (I’ll custom-make the board and adapt my motors to it).
The primary goal is to go as fast as possible.
I’m not against testing equipment.

I haven’t posted many yet.
I’m currently working on a few that will be published soon.

Otherwise, there’s this one too, but you can only see me assembling part of the board.

Have you considered a drive train from Raith?

Apparently they go fast…

Sweet dude.
Stoked to see your journey.

Check out what racers these days are using. Usually custom made open gears.

Cool video! What speeds have you currently hit?

Also, wondering what battery and motors you’re running?

That’s some amazing smeer on your wheels you must slide like a king

using plastic gears for something this powerfull/fast is crazy

I’ll second the option of straight cut open gears.
If you have a drill press and the ability to cut a keyway, you can make use of M1.5 wheel gears from ebay and use M1.5 motor gears from the RC car world.

I’d rather take my chances with a broken belt than broken gears at those speeds
