Caliper the pin to pin distance and you have your answer

My calipers broke
I tested and a davega header fits in it so I thinks it’s 4 pin jst 2.0
Anyone know a place in the uk where I can order a 4 pin header jst 2.0 for pcb (pins coming off the bottom for soldering)

This site has a lot

It doesn’t show between each bolt
It just shows the diameter of the circle

they are all @ 90 degrees, now u can do the math to know the bolt distance

edit: actually u only need to know radius to know the bolt distance :joy:

Yep just did the math
31mm or so
Perfect
Thank you

I’m lazy, is that bolt to bolt diagonally, bolt to bolt across or bolt to center?

It’s the square made between each bolt
The sides of each are 31.something mm

Thanks, I’m currently trying to model this myself in onshape, it’s a weird cad software.

Recommendations for a good and not too expensive soldering iron/station? The one I currently have s*k a** as the soldering iron connects directly to the wall outlet which makes manoeuvrability terrible, the tip also doesn’t transfer any heat so I’ve had to use the body to melt the tin. I also only paid 20 euros for it, so what can I expect.

So, if you have any recommendations for a good, reliable and easy-to-use soldering iron/station then don’t hesitate to reply

Get a pinecil, 65w usbc power supply, and a fat tip. I use it for everything and it’s perfect for 12awg and below.

TS100 with a C4 tip, it’s my esk8 homie. tonnes of cool 3D printable cases for it too. get a thin tip for PCB work and that’s basically all you ever need.

Not a better one(for this application) that I’ve heard of.
There’s uhhhh fuck I wanna say frozend but I know that isn’t right, but that’s for smaller stuff.

if you have the right tools and skills anything is repairable.

you also shouldn’t need a powered screwdriver for anything.

spot welds are reliable, and if done correctly shouldn’t ever need to be “fixed”
