Hi everyone!
I have an interesting question. I have a VESC (MakerX mini FOC) that has some issue with the 5v and 3.3v rail, voltage cuts out every 1-2 seconds. This made my board unusable as the remote would cut out every second.
Can I power my VX1 remote receiver with a 5v buck converter, on 5v and GND. Then connect the GND and PWM lines to my VESC.
I already tested this out using a 5v power supply and got the motor to spin! I just wanted to see if this is a good idea or bad idea and what other people think.
Will this also work to power a metr pro?
Thanks for the help!
