Bearing spacers for superstar - yay or nay?

so where do we stand on this? I read some posts where people just run the 12mm bearings as is since the lip of the star would prevent it sliding center…along with the space. some say yes if you can…

i found these copper spacers in the plumbing section which fit almost perfect on the axle…and only a little to shave off for a perfect fit.

to be, or not to be?

I tried using them on mbs rockstar but they are not needed. As long as you don’t overtighten the rims

Cannot find M10 Rockstar 22.5mm spacers anyway, so I guess I’ll have to trust you

Just cut your own and bridge the tolerances with some shims.

Would 3d printed spacers work?..

edit: I have the M12 ones, maybe just print an inner sleeve to make it M10 and still having the alu wrap.

I did that indeed on some hubs.
Works well so far.
Golden rule is similar to no bearing spacer,
Just don’t overdue it with the nut compression.
