Battery Question: Is this corerct:

Hey guys,

I want to learn how to make my own batteries for the future. I did some research and I I made this diagram:

(You can zoom in and see the positive and negative indicators on the top of the battery)
Is this diagram correct? Keep in mind, this is half a 10s4p, ill just duplicate this for the other side of the battery

where are your series connections?
and how are you going to accomplish this connection?

It’s really hard to tell with a half complete diagram. There’s a lot to guess at. 2 5s packs you want to make or just a really incomplete schematic? It’s a very good idea to finish your plan before you start work on the actual pieces.

I’m no expert but it looks like you are missing a balance wire and your pos/neg discharge wires. altogether. Hard to tell but are the P groups even right?

I recommend to do a bit more research and looking at batteries and finish the diagram of how you think it should be wired and how you want it made.

I will do so, thanks

using nickel correct?

not necessarily…

why don’t you tell us if this is a good or bad idea…

keep going in your design, do actual research instead of being spoon fed…

count this as a learning experience…

someone will be along to tell you when you completely fukk up…
