nice little bike , you use the speaker wire for testing the battery? they look a bit tiny for a good power output

No they’re the final product. I ran 3 set of those wires for triple wiring the controller and they don’t get hot. Only the motor and controller get warm now. I had the same concern, but for the 150A controller it’s fine.
