Looking at purchasing either one of these boards. The Ghost is $1.2k and the Midnight is $2k. So a substantial amount more.
I know someone with a Raith Vengeance and it’s amazing.
I’m leaning more towards the Ghost since it is belt driven which is what I’m used to and the price is way less.
Has anyone ridden both of these boards and can compare the two?
I’ve ridden neither but if I were you I’d only be considering the Raith for warranty reasons.
Warranty within Australia is going to be a lot less hassle than international.

Same. I only know that some of the Raith people have very fragile egos.
raith looks like a wayyy nicer board. that being said if its your first board have you considered diy it may be better off in the long term

Yeah, on various social media platforms if anyone says even the slightest non-positive thing or has questions about their marketing, they seem to immediately jump into uber-defense mode. It’s weird.
And definitely if it’s your first board, strongly consider something else. The Raith is a particularly specialized board (not sure about the Ghost).

That seems like a logical reason. I currently have a few Evolve boards but find them underwhelming…

Unspoken:
evolve … underwhelming
Haha that’s exactly how/why a lot of us have ended up here
In all seriousness though, an international warranty may as well be no warranty at all.

Or they’ll ask to ship back the product at my expense which happened with my ultrasonic cutter…
Well. I ended up buying the BKB kit and picking up a Downhill deck tomorrow
Time to sell my Evolve boards

Words from the wise - keep at least one board until your DIY is complete…
