Bamboo GTR Gen 1 Enclosure and genral hints

Hey Guys I’m here asking for help with my de-evolving( as iv heard it) my Bamboo gtr electric skateboard,This piece of garbage actually blew up on me about a year ago and iv been trying to getting back up and running without evolve parts for the past few months now, Iv gotten quite far like getting the motors and battery to behave somewhat how i wanted them to, But iv reached a quite big issue that i probably should have measured before buying the vesc and that is that The vesc dosent fit in the stock housing,

So im posting this to see if anyone has the models for a riser for the bamboo gtr gen one i was thinking something like this example for the bamboo gt (https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/evolve-bgt-spacer-8-parts) If anybody has something like this for my board please let me know or Anny print files related to this board could be helpful please let me know Thanks!

How much room do you need? Can’t just rout out the deck a little for those capacitors? It won’t weaken the deck, when those break - they break further back.

If you’ve got another build coming up, you could park the flipsky and likely fit a maker x DV4 straight in.

FYI: Do be careful with those caps. I’ve had experience where the soldering hadn’t taken. They’re a right prick to solder back on too as there’s huge thermal mass on the ground plane and the JST connectors get in the way.

I need about half an inch of extra room and yea i guess i could drill capacitors holes i would prefer to try to find a less destructive route tho but i guess if nothing else works il probably try to do that, and for the vesc the one you suggested would probably have been a much better choice but i never knew about it but it i only handles about half the current that the flipsky can tho.
