Does anyone know if single drive cruise control is possible ?
Itās definitely possible.
Ive been trying to figure it out on my new remote, Ik my mini remote had knobs that when moved would set a slow pace, But I moved away from that remote.
Hoyt Puck - just realized they ship only in the US? Any suggestions to get a Puck to Switzerland?
Am i the only one with weird formatting of the website?
(spaces way to big and the titles are cramped.)
The profile picture on the top right fixes itself on the very top. If i scroll just a hair down, it jumps to the side.
Is there a standard motor mount screw lenght for brushless 63xx motors?
M4x8 or M4x10, I use both
I have m4x9 so bullseye!
I have a fuse question on my anti spark switch
Currently using this with a 40a fuse
Does that mean, the moment I hit 41a, it will blow?
I wanna up my vescs to 25a each so total 50a. Can I do it? how are fuse specs calculated? The fuse is removable so I guess I could put a new fuse in but still curious.
Hey guys, what sort of me inserts and bolts do you use to mount your enclosure? Iāve just been drilling through but Iāve got a nice bustinā maestro deck I really donāt want to ruin and I was wondering there was a place you buy your sets?
I use this.
What about for the bolts with it? I think thatās where Iām unsure of size and all that
M4x12 or 15 depending on the depth of the enclosure flange.
Well. It stated the dimensions of the inserts in amazon. Iād go w m4x10mm or m4x8mm. I use cone washers with them.
Like this one.
The insert is 8mm deep, the flange is at least 4mm thick, plus any seal.
Mind you my enclosure has flat edges. Bigben enclosure. Not like the arc v2 from psychotiller. If you use pyschotillers, Iād go for longer screws.
Ah. I use cap heads w cone washers, m4x10 was sufficient for me And thatās with weather rubber window seals from home Depot.
These are the secret sauce to not lose screws due to vibrations.
use them as the last thing just before you screw in.
I ran a similar one at 60A and it seemed ok. I didnāt feel brave enough to push it to 80A, but those fuses are slow blow and can take the over current for a while. Depends on the spec of the fuse.
You wont find a fuse in the same size thatās higher than 40A. Thatās partly why my switch used the midi standard
