Outer spring positions are going to help you more than anything I think.
These can be adjusted to pre-tension your springs. Clockwise = firmer. Measure the gap this creates between your baseplate and spring cup to keep equal between left/right.
But again, move these to outer position before you do anything else.
I didn’t know that. Always put them all the way like I do with screws
You are correct sir, I just glanced at the website and didn’t click the learn more button, I thought it was per truck.
Keep an eye on thier special sales. Can get them for about $100 a few times a year.
But I’d recommend the tkp. The ride is a blast and they are cheaper.
Is there many using the more narrow SR trucks? This would be for a short commuter board, thought it would be nice if the wheels were actually under the board. When I search for surfrodz all I see is 200mm builds.
Yeah there’s skinny ass 176 or whatever it is
You definitely can but you’ll be limited on the motors you can use, and you’ll get worse wheel bite
Single 6374 maytech just arrived today!
Then go for it, got mounts already?
Not yet, still in planning stages. I need to try to find some builds with the smaller SR and 6374 motors to see how it went, my deck will most likely have wheel wells so that should help some
I think @moon and @Janux-esk8 have the good mounts for SR
The Janux site has dual SR RKP mounts but he might sell you a standalone if you ask nicely
Are you taking about the 177 rkp surfrodz trucks?
Or 176? Idk
The one smaller than 200mm rkp?
I think dual 6369 tiller motors ( or 6365 maytechs) are the biggest that will fit dual. I could be wrong tho.
Can someone measure the circumference of a paris v2 rkp hanger about an inch away from the axle for me?
Anyone know if you can use the charge port on a bms for discharging at low amps?
You can, but it’s not advised. I use this all the time when I plug voltmeters into the charge port, which is technically discharging through it, if but a tiny bit
Just connect it across your ESC power wires.
It is an option but I want the LEDs to work independently of the loopkey
